I tell you, we were framed!
“Tag you’re it!”
As we sit in the New Year’s Eve hours of 2023 and await our New Year 2024 to arrive… please know that my life has been forever changed by each of you through time. May we each continue to “Love Each Other Beyond Worms” and may God blossom the butterfly from each of our chrysalises. Forever humbled & grateful. My prayer for us all as we step into this New Year 2024 is:
Dear Lord,
Thank you for going before us to make a way. My heart realizes that the journey has contained so many valleys for those that I am blessed to call my family & friends. It isn’t a year I would have signed up for, but it is a year that you drew me ever so deeper & closer to You. I have seen the unconditional love of Christ in my family, my church family & friends. Each of these are gifts beyond words, because our journey is a spiritual journey. I ask Lord that you would be exactly what each of these beautiful people need… you know Lord the ones that you blessed me with because You handpicked them to place them in my path. May you continue to grow us all where we are. May you help us to truly take EVERY thought captive and hear YOUR DIVINE VOICE above all the noise. In the power of Jesus’ resurrected name. AMEN
How do we take every thought captive? Reality is, one thought at a time. His will, His way & His timing aren’t ours, because our perspective in NOT His perspective. How do we gain His perspective? One thought at a time. “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things”. Philippians 4:8 Is it easy, absolutely NOT. It is especially hard when we are in shadows of the valley. The greatest news is that He has gone before us to make a way even when we don’t understand. Remember “paint by number” paintings? The Bible is our stamped and numbered guide. Yes we do it one number at a time. And when we get to the other side, we will see His final masterpiece. Don’t know about you but mine looks & feels like a “splatter painting” at times. God tells me that is ok and to just trust Him and lean on Him. One more ADD thought… black is NOT my favorite color but it does provide the shading & depth necessary to create a masterpiece.
Guessing Jamie Matthews and I will continue our New Years Eve tradition (as of these later years) and fall asleep before the New Year arrives. You see aging is a journey all its own on this earth. Can I hear an AMEN?! May you all find His blessings sprinkled all along the journey where you least expect them. After all God’s perspective isn’t our perspective. May you each have moments of reflection in Him. Can’t wait to see what butterfly you each become in Him. This Holy Spirit Wild Card is signing off for 2023 but just before I do…

Praying God allows you to look through His Divine “lens of love” and the “strength in Him” to pass that unconditional love on. May God also give you the perfect word & verse to take with you throughout this New Year 2024. My love, HUGS & prayers, Paulette
ps Please pray for me to pass my tests, from God’s perspective, on Tuesday January 2, 2024. A CT Scan & a Bone Scan are not tests you can study for, but I assure you that I’ve been doing my homework daily since last of June 2023! Hey it included me being allowed to have coffee!
… “Bottoms Up” Again not in the way I expected! You’ve gotta know that it is hard on a retired teachers heart to NOT be able to study for my tests. Reality is that it wouldn’t do me any good if I had studied. 
Now there is a foreign concept to my ADD brain. Guess what, God already knows the results, so I leave it totally in His Divine Hands.
